The Problem: We have a relatively new Lantech automatic shrink wrapper on which the film gets so much static it pulls itself off the end of the film spreading/opening frame.
Solution: We've been using the ion360 Rod and have been doing pretty well. In fact, I've not heard of static being an issue for quite some time. (It is funny how you tend to forget about things if they are working).

My question: How did you attach the ion360 Rod to the machine?
Answer: “You can see the static rod attached to the frame on the right with a beam clamp.”

Question: Is the ion360 Rod inside the sleeve of plastic?
Answer: Yes. What we found was that this was the area where the static cling was so strong that the film would cling to itself as it went toward the corner bars, to the point where it would (gradually) push itself to the left, and eventually one of the sealing rollers in the seal head would lose grip on flange of film.
